1. User Categories

Scenefind supports two primary user roles:
• Event-goers (“Users”)
• Event organizers (“Organizers”)
Certain features and obligations apply only to Organizers. Where provisions apply specifically to Organizers, this will be clearly indicated.

2. Account Registration

Users may be required to create an account to access certain features of the Platform. You warrant that all information provided during registration is accurate and up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity conducted through your account.

3. Use of the Platform

The Platform may only be used for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
• Use the Platform in a manner that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

4. Event Listings and Advertising (Organizers)

Organizers may submit event listings and advertisements subject to compliance with these Terms and the Advertising Policy.
By submitting an advertisement, the Organizer warrants that:
• The event is genuine and lawful
• All information provided is accurate and not misleading
• The Organizer has the authority to promote the event
Scenefind does not guarantee attendance, ticket sales, or event success.

5. Moderation and Content Control

• Scenefind reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to review, approve, reject, suspend, or remove any content or advertisement that violates these Terms, the Advertising Policy, or applicable law.
• Where an advertisement is removed due to a material breach of this Advertising Policy, no refund will be issued.
• Scenefind may, at its discretion, allow organizers to correct minor or technical non-compliances prior to removal.
Refunds may be considered where removal results from a platform error or circumstances beyond the organizer’s control.

6. Payments and Fees

• Fees for advertising, subscriptions, or other services are payable as displayed on the Platform at the time of purchase.
• Payments are processed through third-party payment service providers. Scenefind does not store card or banking details.
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

Scenefind provides the Platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scenefind shall not be liable for:
• Any loss arising from reliance on event information
• Cancellation, postponement, or changes to events
• Indirect, consequential, or economic loss
Ticketing and Third-Party Transactions
• Scenefind as an event discovery and advertising platform does not sell, issue, or manage tickets for events unless expressly stated otherwise.
• Ticket sales, registrations, and payments are conducted directly between users and event organizers or third-party ticketing platforms.
• Scenefind does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the legitimacy of ticket sales, pricing, or organizer conduct, and shall not be held responsible for any loss, fraud, or dispute arising from ticket purchases or event attendance.
• Users are encouraged to exercise due diligence and, where possible, purchase tickets only through reputable and trusted ticketing platforms.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and not hold Scenefind liable against any claim, loss, or damage arising from:
• Your use of the Platform
• Your breach of these Terms
• Any event or advertisement submitted by you

9. Privacy

Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time where there is a breach of these Terms or applicable policies.

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be made available on the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
