Advertising Policy

SceneFind is an events-discovery and advertising platform designed exclusively for the promotion of genuine events. This Advertising Policy sets out the rules governing what content may be advertised on the platform. Its purpose is to protect users, maintain platform integrity, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and payment-provider requirements.

1. Permitted Advertising Content You Can Advertise

Scenefind allows advertisements that are strictly event-based. Examples of permitted events include, but are not limited to:

  • Concerts, music festivals, and live performances
  • Theatre productions, comedy shows, and cultural showcases
  • Nightlife, clubbing, and DJ events
  • Conferences, workshops, seminars, and webinars
  • Fundraisers, charity events, and community gatherings
  • Sporting events, fitness activities, and tournaments
  • Food festivals, markets, and pop-up events
  • Exhibitions, expos, and trade fairs

This list is illustrative and not exhaustive. Provided the advertisement relates to a legitimate event occurring at a specific date, time, and location (physical or virtual), it may be permitted on the platform.

2. Prohibited Advertising Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on SceneFind:

  • Advertisements unrelated to events, including but not limited to the sale of goods, employment opportunities, or personal services
  • Misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent events
  • Adult content, explicit material, gambling-related content, or content involving illegal activities
  • Duplicate listings, spam, or repetitive advertisements intended to manipulate visibility
  • Events that violate any applicable law or regulation

Scenefind reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether content qualifies as a permissible event advertisement.

3. Subscription Ad Allocation and Usage

• Ad Allocation Per Billing Cycle

Each subscription package includes a fixed number of ad placements per billing cycle. An ad placement is deemed used once an event has been approved and published on the Platform.

• Non-Rollover of Unused Placements

Unused ad placements do not carry forward to subsequent billing cycles. Any unused placements remaining at the end of a billing cycle shall expire automatically.

• Deletion or Cancellation of Events

Where an approved and published event is subsequently deleted, cancelled, or removed by the organizer, such placement shall remain counted toward the subscription limit for that billing cycle and shall not be restored.

• Rejected or Declined Submissions

Event submissions that are rejected or declined prior to publication shall not count toward the subscription ad allocation.

4. Moderation and Enforcement

SceneFind uses a combination of automated moderation tools and human review to assess advertisements submitted to the platform.

Where an advertisement is found to be in breach of this policy, SceneFind may, without prior notice:

  • Reject or remove the advertisement
  • Suspend or terminate the Organizer’s account
  • Restrict future advertising privileges

Where an advertisement is removed due to a material breach of this Advertising Policy, no refund will be issued.

SceneFind may, at its discretion, allow organizers to correct minor or technical noncompliances prior to removal.

Refunds or credits may be considered where removal results from a platform error or circumstances beyond the organizer’s control.

6. Amendments to This Policy

SceneFind reserves the right to amend this Advertising Policy at any time. Updated versions will be made available within the app or on the SceneFind website. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the amended policy.
