Refund Policy
This Refund Policy governs all payments made to SceneFind (Pty) Ltd (“SceneFind”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) for digital advertising services, subscription packages, and credit-based promotional services offered via our digital platform and mobile application.
By purchasing any service on the SceneFind platform, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Nature of Services
SceneFind provides digital advertising and promotional services to event organizers and businesses. These services include:
• Once-off advertisement packages
• Subscription packages
All services are digital and intangible in nature and are activated upon successful payment and publication or allocation within the platform.
2. No Refund After Activation or Publication
Once an advertisement has been:
• Published on the platform; or
• Approved and scheduled for publication; or
• A subscription has commenced, the service is deemed to have been delivered.
Due to the immediate allocation of digital visibility and platform resources, no refunds will be granted once activation or publication has occurred.
3. Refunds Prior to Activation
A refund may be considered only where:
• Payment was successfully processed; and
• The advertisement or subscription has NOT yet been published, activated, or used; and
• A written request is submitted within 24 hours of payment.
All approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method and may be subject to administrative and transaction processing fees.
4. Duplicate or Erroneous Charges
If a customer is incorrectly charged due to:
• A verified duplicate transaction;
• A confirmed technical error;
SceneFind will investigate and, if confirmed, issue a refund for the duplicate or erroneous amount.
5. Event Cancellation by Organizer
SceneFind acts solely as a digital advertising platform.
If an event organizer cancels an event:
• Refunds to event attendees remain the responsibility of the event organizer.
• SceneFind is not liable for refunds between event organizers and their attendees.
SceneFind does not process ticket sales unless explicitly stated.
6. Consumer Protection Compliance
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, where applicable.
However, customers acknowledge that digital services which are immediately executed or published may not be subject to cancellation once performance has begun.
7. Chargebacks
Customers are encouraged to contact SceneFind directly before initiating a chargeback with their
bank. Unlawful or fraudulent chargebacks may result in:
• Suspension of account access;
• Removal of active advertisements;
• Recovery of funds through appropriate legal processes.
8. Processing Time
Approved refunds may take:
• 5 to 10 business days to reflect, depending on the financial institution.
